Electing animal champions and a pro-animal majority is critical to supporting animal welfare. Once in office, those elected leaders must support legislation to create a safe world for all animals. Here is some of the pending legislation in Congress today that would improve the lives of animals throughout the country and world.

  Protects wild horses and burros on federal land by limiting use of helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft BLM uses to round up, capture and transport animals.

  Straightens licensing requirements for animal dealers and exhibitors to crack down on dealers who put animals' lives at risk.
